Profile:

A natural pilot and thrill-seeker in her free time, Ashlyn is generally kind and upstanding, placing honour and a sense of 'doing right by people' above most other things, despite her hunger for pushing machinery to it's absolute limit. Usually cold and calm behind the flight stick, she can come across as a bit airheaded otherwise, and gets lost in large cities often.

  • 10.30.2951 - After months of work, focus shifted to further strengthening of Sovereign...how they will change is yet unknown, but a drive for excellence, as well as maintaining a high sense of both honour and ability remain paramount. Under the Militia Act, UEE Admiralty bestowed the rank of Captain upon Ashlyn Gunn as she continued to lead and fight alongside others in the defense of citizens within the Stanton system.

  • 11.09.2952 - In addition to her responsibilities with Sovereign, joined The Commission as a member and aerospace combat pilot.

  • 11.12.2952 - Won a Commission sponsored race event near Lorville, Hurston in the Stanton system, piloting her teammate's P-72 Archimedes, where she would go on to purchase her own with the resulting prize money.

  • 12.4.2952 - Gained membership and association with the group called the RPSF, again lending her piloting skills toward helping others alongside her other tasks.

  • 12.10.2952 - Won an FPS competition / group play aboard an FPS 890J mission to test CQB ability against all competitors in a free-for-all event, resulting in an award of the grand prize for the effort given.

  • 12.12.2952 - Recruited to Aesir's Spear, redacting the existence of [Sovereign], and assigned the rank of FLG.

  • 12.18.2952 - Promoted to the rank of HTK.

  • 1.2.2953 - Promoted to the rank of DGR.

  • 1.21.2953 - Participated in the Daymar Rally 2953 as the support pilot for the Aesir's Spear racing team, flying her Valkyrie. Awarded for fully evading two torpedo launches, and 3 sets of missile launches without incurring damage, and aiding in all team members completing the entire race.

  • 2.19.2953 - Promoted to the rank of ASR.

  • 9.28.2953 - Enlisted with The Stormbringers, & promoted to the rank of ENS.

History:

  • Born: Prime, Terra - 2928

  • Citizen of Downtown - Parents were both prominent military industrial business people, each having been deceased for over ten years in an accident, leaving Ashlyn as the controller of her family's holdings.

  • A socialite by upbringing before becoming a soldier, she focused heavily on pushing investments into Origin Jumpworks, as well as Anvil Aerospace, and continues to own and operate various luxury & military craft from the manufacturers in her spare time.

  • Travelled to the Stanton System, where she resided on both Orison and MicroTech before her life's path led her to enlist with the Astrum Militia.

  • Enjoys chess, and tends to relish in conversation while playing it with friends and contacts alike.

  • Known to keep a large personal reserve of Angeli Whiskey for herself, she has been known to either drink this sort of expensive alcohol at gatherings, parties, or rarely give bottles as gifts to people close to her.

  • Keeps an array of Nox hover bikes in various garages in the Stanton and Terra systems, but of each one, can most often be seen casually riding her Nox Kue - likely due to it's relative rarity in production number, and it's distinctive look compared to the more common variants. Has also been heard talking about training on Daymar in her X1 Velocity from Origin, perhaps because of her investments in the company along with her love of that sort of travel and sport, and has participated in multiple Rally races.

  • Through unknown channels, and via her achievements in a combination of combat experience and piloting, it's rumoured that she has been seen in the last year embarking or disembarking from fringe locations in a customized Sabre Raven - though it is unknown at this time with who she is ( or was ) in connection with to attain such a specialized ship, her ability in piloting it has only increased her reputation as a wraith between stations and planets - and most recently, she has also been seen operating a highly customized Anvil F8C Lightning, the name "Calibarn" emblazoned beneath the cockpit.
